Last week, I had the opportunity of visiting Skin Spa NYC in Boston. I have been appointed as their new #SkinSpaAmbassador so I'll be posting about the services/ treatments that were used during my visits. Sometimes your skin needs a little more maintenance as you grow older, feel me? I'm twenty-seven and I'm starting to notice changes in my skin so I want to diminish my problems areas now so I can look twenty-seven forever.
I received the Laser Genesis treatment. What is Laser Genesis? This preventative and corrective treatment kick-starts collagen production to diminish fine lines and wrinkles. The service uses advanced science to plump and rejuvenate the skin for a firmer, more youthful finish. It safely treats active acne, acne scares, uneven skin tone, rosacea, and enlarged pores. A gentle cleanse and tone are followed by the Laser Genesis treatment. This treatment is ideal for all skin types.
The laser radiated warm rays to my skin, which felt like what I would assume tanning in a salon would feel like but on a small section of your face - it feels as weird as it sounds. Either way, I left with my skin feeling super soft (Thanks to Nicole and Shawna!). Results are really supposed to kick in within a few weeks, but I noticed brighter, tighter, clearer skin by the end of the day.
